The artistic vision of blended hearts and souls suffused with myriad emotions came together with a sense of purpose, a shining symbol of unity and positivity. Of the sixteen, some were incredibly adept at craftwork as though they were born to it and some others could barely thread a needle. The materials and the creative designs had their place but what mattered most were the mentoring, the sharing, the camaraderie, and the generosity of spirit that formed the bedrock of this stunning transformation. This work is a crisscrossing of all humanity – a little piece of each of us.
