I love shibori fabric and wanted to showcase it in a quilt.This quilt has been made organically improv method.I did not use any rulers and let the pattern of the quilt emerge as I began to sew.Shibori is a form of tie and dye in which the fabric is folded, pleated, tied or stitched in different ways to achieve various designs.
SHIBORI is a Japanese word for a variety of ways of embellishing textiles by shaping cloth and securing it before dyeing.
