'Heads or Tails' was the title for the Mod Challenge posted in our quilt group. I came up with the design by substituting coin flipping with dice throwing. After all both are used to resolve an issue! This quilt tells the story of two robes, both taken from two great religious books. The first one is from the Bible: the story of the Seamless Robe of Jesus, for which the soldiers who crucify him, throw dice to decide who gets it. The second one is about the Endless Robe of Draupathi from Mahabaratha; here too, both the land and the lady were lost in a game of chance!
