This quilt has been paper pieced by my grandmother and I, did the quilting part. This is a really big deal for her because she has finally come out of her nutshell. She has been through a lot. She has been feeling dead on the inside for a while now. She's finally feeling better now. She has taken up a new hobby, sewing, which is making her feel alive again. This is her first quilt. Hence, the title, 'Phoenix'. Her soul has been reborn!
