The Log Cabin Block has always been a favourite of mine. But The Twisted Log cabin Block worked to test my skill with Foundation piecing. Piecing small strips of fabric to get the desired result was a challenge. The colour gradation and pattern translated to a sight of Bougainvillea flowers which are a common sight but are a neglected lot and taken for granted. The red center and yellow binding has been given to highlight the beauty of the green and purple colours.
