TREE OF LIFE
I learnt to quilt the tree of life from a workshop conducted by Tinakatwal .
I decided to depict the trees in varied forms they appear in 4 different seasons .
A tree reflects its surrounding and it captures the essence of the season in all its glory..
For winter i chose to show the tree with snow covered branches for which i chose a light blue fabric that depicts snow.
For summer i decided to go with a dark green colours for the foliage showing how lush the trees are during summer.
For spring i took a mild pink that conveys the tree is in full blossom during the spring and
Finally for autumn i chose a mix of mustard and maroon that appears as if the leaves are about to wither and fall away.
