As a tribute to Nature, I began working on this quilt much before this pandemic struck the world.
Ironically my theme, which is only a very small representation of Nature, became all the more important to send out a subtle yet strong message to do our best to appreciate, cherish and preserve Nature as best as we possibly can.
Putting the pieces together was like a jig saw puzzle I had created.
Many of the piecing techniques, especially FPP were new to me and extremely challenging, but
Tina Katwal my teacher had confidence in me encouraged and convinced me that I could do it. But for her I could never have completed this quilt.
The end result proved to be so satisfying that it has encouraged me to boldly undertake more such challenges.
