This raw edge applique with plain backing. The quilting was done upon the batting prior to the application of backing fabric. And for this reason the backing will not reflect the quilting.

The quilt was inspired by Priya Suneel's painting from the "Faceless" series, a journey of raw colour and stylized imagery, where unseen faces speak of unexpressed identities swept away by the landscape of daily living.
