I just can’t believe that I am showcasing my quilt at IIQF 2021 - MY FIRST QUILT! This journey started almost six months ago. I have always been in awe of color and contrasting fabrics, the way they flow together to create a design. That has been my greatest inspiration and hence the title PRISMATIC XPRESSIONS
The traditional design of each block and the simplicity was an opportunity for a novice quilter like me to learn quilt construction basics. Traditional at its very core I believe these blocks make stunning quilts on par with their modern counterparts. The project was tough but interesting with a few hurdles to be crossed.
This is an ongoing journey, with plenty of new skills to learn and I’m thrilled to continue.
