I got my inspiration for this quilt from a gorgeous quilt done by Meghna Pandey who used her mother’s saris and other fabrics to create a stunning quilt. My quilt turned out quite different. It is machine pieced and the fabrics are all pure cotton some from Kalindi and the rest from the fabric souk in Kuwait. I followed a grid that I found on Pinterest. The quilt has been beautifully quilted by Tina Katwal at the Square Inch Chennai. The multi colored binding Is particularly striking and blends with the quilt seamlessly
