Made during the covid lockdown period, working on this quilt was therapeutic during very testing times. With so much doom and gloom around thee pandemic, I found refuge in a riot of colours which reminded me of jars of colourful poppins candy. Cheer and joy amidst weeks and months of uncertainty, this quilt was my expression of immense happiness and gratitude for what i still have. Colorful hand dyed fabrics and a gorgeous quilted candy is my entry for IIQF 2021.
