RANGEELA’ is an artists’ collective of ladies who do traditional work. This time, they decided to step outside their comfort zone and test their boundaries.This quilt is Rangeela’s attempt to make an IMPROV pieced quilt- wherein each member made 2-3 blocks using only solid colours and a pre-decided colour scheme. Once the blocks were ready, they were tied together using Devayanee's concept, resulting in ‘A Symphony of Individuality’ :This quilt, machine pieced and hand quilted by us, is the successful product of our improvisational laborious effort. The colours represent our passion and freedom, while simultaneously the structure and order of the quilt that has come together from a larger chaos represent strength, ambition & grandeur.
