When I went to Austria the winter of 2017, I fell in love with this painting by Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. I then decided to make a real size pictorial quilt out of it, using the Indian raw silk I bought in Kerala, India in 2018. I love the vibrant color contrast of the original paining and how the Indian raw silk's brightness transformation of the original.
