When the lockdown pushed us into a standstill, I was one of those stuck away from my home, after about 50 days when we were allowed to travel, on my way back, I witnessed migrant workers going back to their hometowns. Some fortunate enough to travel comfortably, some barefoot clinging onto whatever means they found.
I realized it’s not easy to feed a family without an income, to live without food and shelter & to survive without hopes.
The same hope made the country believe that we are going to sail through this.
Few found the hope in their god, but few found their god in the trucks ready to carry them back home.
Today when the sun is about to rise & the difficult road is about to end.
Hold on there...It’s going to be a better tomorrow.
