Artist Statement/ Description/ Method
A tribute to the Master Artist Sir S H Raza. His paintings represent the colours of nature with 'Colourfull Geometric pattern s'.
I have used solid coloured Fabrics cut in various shapes like circle, triangles, squares and lines. Each has been meticulously placed to resemble a pattern inspired by the paintings. It was stuck with Fabric glue, then stitched with straight lines to hold them together.
Rangeen Rekha-ganith is representing colours and diversity of India. Indian bells and lace have been used to enhance its look as a wall hanging which jingles with breeze. An indian sound is created which reminds us of Indian Dance forms and Cows with bells.
