A not-so-recent tour took me through the quaint villages of Rajasthan-another state in India that boasts unique cultures, customs, art and more. They were the pillars of strength who kept their families united. In my quilt is one such Rajasthani woman - with a straight gaze, quiet smile and knowing eyes.
