As an initiative from Game of Throwns, participants were mentored for a community group quilt. The theme focused on green thumbs of Bangalore, how gardening offered a solace to so many people and balconies converted into beautiful gardens. Inspiration of flowers and plants were captured as photographs and then composed into sketches. Final artwork was converted into a textile patch with combination of various textile techniques The group had participants from age groups 8 to 70 years and skill level from absolute beginners, hobbyists to professional embroiderers. Mentoring was done for each participant in a specially designed online workshop and each one's piece has been grouped into a community quilt screen.
