This quilt uses the Interleave quilting method. I wanted to represent my quilting circle via this miniature quilt. Each of us have a distinct personality and specializes in a different kind of quilting technique at varying levels of skill. When we are together we are 'more than the sum of its parts’ very much like the individual geometric shapes of this quilt which hold their own shapes, yet mean much more when they all come together to form a secondary pattern; magically transforming the shapes and colours into a theme.
