This is a fun quilt that was made as a mystery quilt sew along. That is, jelly roll strips and background fabric came together over the course of a few weeks until the blocks were completed into the snowflake form. I love to use every scrap, so I put together pieces to make a colorful border on the back around the central final leftover background. Quilting is most fun when you have a community of friends who inspire and encourage. The unusual tie-dye strips paired with the green snowflake background makes me think of warm weather and celebrating Christmas in Chennai.
